The AM Security Control Centre operates as a 24-hour call centre enabling our clients to contact us 24/7. The control centre logs all calls for quality purposes; and tracks and monitors them until they are resolved. Screened, experienced, qualified, highly skilled operators make informed decisions on the “next step” to follow.
Monitoring and reporting
Our control centre provides real time monitoring of our security officers complete with the provision of an audit trail for our clients via a guard monitoring system (Sentinel). Communication between our clients, management, security officers and tactical response officers are of the utmost importance, not only in the case of an emergency, but at all times to ensure good service delivery, with quick and effective response. Security officers also report regularly via radios and mobile systems to the control room to ensure constant communication between all the different units. Our managers and supervisors also carry out physical site visits throughout their shift.
The control centre is responsible for dispatching tactical response teams to alerts from alarms and panics. Advanced vehicle tracking ensures monitoring of the quality, patrolling and response times of our tactical response teams. A full audit trail is available to our clients.
Routine remote CCTV surveillance and response to motion-activation cameras are also carried out from the centre, triggering the despatch of a tactical response team or visual verification, enabling us to ensure the appropriate alert to the police or other emergency services.
